Changing the dip switches for Difficulty, Lives, Screen Blanking, and Attract Mode Audio will reset your game in order to make these changes. Only make these changes between games or you will lose you current game’s progress and be sent back to the beginning!

Aha! So you admit you never took down Singe in the arcade? Don't worry, we’ve got you covered! Our Dragon’s Lair x RepliCade gives you access to dip switches so you can set the machine to Easy and give yourself unlimited Dirks so you can finally save Daphne!

In order to create the most authentic gameplay experience, we have gone the extra mile and added in “screen blanking” to the Daphne ROM. This can be toggled ON or OFF in the options menu. Turning it ON will give the classic black screens in between scene transitions (and sometimes a much-needed break)!

Different from our other RepliCade machines, Dragon’s Lair x RepliCade, the coin buttons only light up when the unit is turned on.

No, it's not crashed! Attract mode only plays when there are no credits available to play. Just like in the arcade, the machine will wait on the Insert Coin screen until you add another credit by pushing the left Coir Door button. 

Check the game audio setting in the menu and make sure the correct option is selected. Choose “HDMI” when plugged into the TV to hear the audio from the TV. Choose “RepliCade” when not plugged in or plugged into a speaker-less monitor. If you still don’t hear anything, make sure the volume dial on top of the RepliCade cabinet is not turned all the way down (trust us – it happens to all of us!)

Yes, Dragon’s Lair x RepliCade supports two external controllers with two built in USB ports! No worries if you only have one controller, you can pass it around as each player meets a tragic end…. err glorious victory! Note: when two controllers are plugged in, press the Start Game button on the USB1 controller to start a 2-player game!

Never fear! RepliCade machines are built to withstand competitive play. The machine weighs in at about 3 lbs, and has protective, non-slip grips on the bottom to help ensure stability during gameplay. The only thing being slayed is singe!

Dragon’s Lair x RepliCade runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack that can run up to 6 hours before needing to be recharged. Note: as a shipping safety precaution, RepliCade machines will arrive to you with the battery discharged.

RepliCade machines run on a custom hardware solution. Every machine is a closed system that is not intended to be modified by the end user. RepliCade machines boot directly into the original game rom. We do include a modern menu system to allow control of the hardware’s and software’s features.

Our Dragon’s Lair cabinet features stereo speakers that resonate warmly inside the authentic wood cabinet recreating that arcade ambience you remember from back in the day. The cabinet features adjustable volume control (and an attract mode on and off switch) for when your wife/husband/kids/boss tells you to “turn that thing down!”

Yes, the screen brightness can be changed in the options menu. You are also able to turn the marquee light on and off, the joystick sound on and off, and the attract mode audio on and off.

We spent countless hours of gameplay dialing-in the joystick and buttons to get it smooth, consistent, and as close to the original as possible in 1:6 scale. We are particularly proud of how accurate the joystick is and how authentic the buttons feel!

Yes, this is the first RepliCade that has hdtv support. Don bluth’s masterpiece will display in letterboxed 4:3 aspect ratio, and you can choose to have the audio come out of the RepliCade or the tv!

Yes, the die cast metal coin door opens to reveal a small stash box inside – not that we have anything to hide! Also comes with a coin door cover if you want to hide the coin door logo.
